Matthew is one of our awesome Bike Instructors at the Try It Out Tuesday sessions at You Can Bike Too. I asked him what that means to him and he said that it’s all about helping people. With helmets. It’s always important to find a helmet that fits and feels comfortable before pedalling off!
Matthew likes helping other people. He enjoys this role because it gives him something to do so that he doesn’t get bored. I reckon it’s always good to be doing things which give you positive stimulation!
So, what is your favourite bike and why? Matthew said that he likes the yellow 4 wheeler because “you can rest your arms on it and have a rest!”
Then we talked about his history of cycling and Matthew said he was 5 when he first learned to ride a bike. “It was a bit hard (but I got the hang of it)”. He said that he still does lots of cycling.
So, how does riding a bike make you feel? “Makes me feel fit, sometimes worn out”.
Thanks to Ames who wrote this post for us ... we wish you well in your new role and will miss you ... thank you for your support and time in volunteering for You Can Bike Too.
